In 2025 we’re very excited to be celebrating 100 years of the University of Melbourne Baseball Club!
Since 1926, our club has been more than just a place to play baseball – it’s where thousands of players have competed, made lifelong friends, and been part of an incredible community built around the game we love.
To celebrate this huge milestone, we’ve got an awesome lineup of events planned for the 2025 season. It’s going to be a year to remember, and we can’t wait to have you with us for the celebrations!

Heritage Game
We’re excited to announce that the UMBC Heritage Game will now be played on Saturday 12 April from 10.45 am at Ross Straw Field.
This past players face-off will be followed by the A Reserve and A Grade teams, and a delicious lunch.
Are you a past player interested in playing the UMBC Heritage Game? Let us know if you’re keen to play, coach or umpire. And please nudge your past teammates – we’d love to see as many people as possible!
Centenary Gala
The centrepiece of our celebrations, our Centenary Gala will take place on Saturday 2nd August 2025 at Melbourne Zoo!
Tickets will go on sale early in the new year, so book in your team mates, reach out to your buddies from back in the day, and get ready to book your table of 10.
Tickets for this showpiece event are capped and we do expect it will sell out, so make sure you’re ready to book when the tickets go live!
